You can read every letter without an account, advertising cookies, or audience measurement. This prototype does not have an analytics provider connected.

Optional audience measurement

If enabled in a future deployment, optional measurement helps Aaron understand how people find the writing, which letters hold their attention, and what they read next. It starts only if you choose to allow it below. Choosing not to allow it changes nothing about the reading experience.

Measurement is off by default.

What would be measured

Pages opened; broad reading-depth milestones; time spent with a visible letter; reaching its end; opening the archive; the way you move between letters; and successful copy or share actions. Reaching the end is only an estimate of engagement, not proof of reading.

The optional provider, Plausible, can also report referral sources, device categories, and approximate country, region, and city from the network connection. This is not precise location tracking. Your device’s GPS is never requested.

No names, email addresses, account identifiers, or personal text are sent by this site’s events. URLs sent with these events use the canonical article address, without query strings or fragments. Read Plausible’s data policy ↗

Your choice stays yours

A measurement choice is saved on this device so you aren’t asked again. Browser privacy signals, including Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control, keep measurement off. You can withdraw permission here at any time. Withdrawal stops future collection; it does not remove already aggregated statistics.

Reading progress is not saved across visits. The site does not create a persistent reader identity. Hosting providers receive ordinary network requests to deliver the pages, even when optional audience measurement is off.

Search and links

Google Search Console can report aggregate Google search queries, impressions, and clicks. It is separate from on-site measurement and does not identify individual readers. Original-publication and citation links lead to other sites with their own policies.
